The Peace for Development Refugees Initiative (PDRI) is a community-based organization established in March 2016 to address the needs and challenges of refugee communities. PDRI focuses on supporting vulnerable groups, particularly children, youth, and women, through various programs aimed at education, sports, socioeconomic empowerment, and peacebuilding.
PDRI's vision is to foster durable peace through education, sports, and arts, improving the lives of vulnerable individuals under the slogan, "No peace, no bread." Their mission is to create inclusive spaces where people from diverse backgrounds can unite and participate in activities that promote lasting peace and development.
The Early Childhood Development (ECD) program provides foundational education to young children, ensuring they receive the necessary cognitive, emotional, and social skills for their future. By focusing on early learning, we aim to create a strong base for lifelong education and development.

The ICT program equips refugees with essential computer skills, including basic computing, internet navigation, and software proficiency. This training enhances their educational and employment opportunities, empowering them to engage effectively in the digital world.
Our sports training program focuses on engaging children under 15 in various athletic activities, including football, baseball, and dodgeball. These sports not only promote physical health but also foster teamwork, discipline, and peaceful coexistence among young participants from diverse backgrounds.
Our women empowerment projects focus on providing women with the tools and resources needed for self-reliance. Through vocational training, income-generating activities, and leadership development, we strive to elevate the social and economic status of women within the refugee community.
Our peace building initiatives are designed to cultivate a culture of peace within the refugee community. Through educational workshops, community dialogues, and conflict resolution training, we aim to address and mitigate tensions, fostering a harmonious and cooperative environment.
Community-building efforts aim to strengthen the social fabric of the refugee population. By promoting unity through various social, cultural, and educational activities, we create an inclusive environment where every member feels valued and supported, contributing to the overall development of the community.
